I cleanse my body regularly every 6 months. When I use the Paragone for the 2 weeks, 3x/day it gets into your system so that even your scalp peels. It is also a parasite cleanse but then the scalp is a known host to demodex.
      To shampoo:
I use Nioxin cleanser and Scalp therapy every other day. There are some scalp serums containing saw palmetto that are great to rub in the hairline and add drops all over the scalp. This usally slows the shedding and helps new growth. Protein shakes are a must, extra b complex, biotin and flax seeds are on my diet. Hope this helps, it does me. I add a liquid whole food multi vitamin and essential fatty acids-flax with fish oil. These are all essential.

Read the labels on good hair vitamins and see if those are in your multi, you will benefit from them.
      Hope this helps!

I was wondering what ingredients strip hair of color? My hair is quite gray and I have it colored. It seems to loose the glossy dark color I get at the salon and turn a bit brassy.

It's color is naturally about 40% gray and the rest is light mousy brown. It lacks any texture, what is the length I should move toward? I have a strong aversion to very short hair. Help me!

Will this help dry, curly hair? I just read a book, Curly Girl, where the author says curly-haired girls should only wash their hair with conditioner. So it would be interesting to see if this shampoo is the exception.

I also don't like that my hair is considerably already far, far less abundant than it's been all my life. (51+) But, I don't SEE a lot of hair come out. Clearly, though, it's thinned. A lot. I tried Nioxin, but didn't see much of a difference. any other suggestions?

I also have a very strong aversion to short hair..love long, big hair!
Question: what is the best way to extend my color to reach all the way to the ends of my hair? The length is about 3 inches past my shoulders? I heard mixing the dye with some shampoo to extend the amount....any suggestions!
    Thanks..Maryann
